PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform stable motor control by appropriately detecting a temperature of permanent magnets in a pump device where an inverter circuit is configured integrally with a permanent magnet motor.SOLUTION: The pump device comprises: a pump; the motor for driving the pump; cooling means which is fitted to the motor; and an inverter which is fitted to a housing constituting an outer circumference of the motor and controls a rotational speed of the motor. A temperature detector within the inverter is fitted to the housing, and the motor comprises a rotor that is configured by disposing a plurality of permanent magnets in a cylindrical shape. The inverter estimates the temperature of the permanent magnets that constitute the rotor within the housing to which the temperature detector is fitted, from a temperature detected by the detector. On the basis of the estimated temperature, a control constant for controlling the motor is corrected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
