PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen gas non-circulation type fuel battery system that can surely suppress deterioration of a cathode electrode while suppressing discharge of fuel gas to the outside of a fuel battery stack.SOLUTION: When power generation should be started in a fuel battery stack 10, air supply of a compressor 44 is stopped, and supply of hydrogen gas from a hydrogen gas supplier 35 is started at an initial supply flow rate while a purge control valve 38 is kept closed, thereby increasing anode pressure as the internal pressure of a hydrogen gas passage 30. Subsequently, when the anode pressure reaches a set pressure, the purge control valve 38 is temporarily opened, and then air supply to the fuel battery stack is started to start power generation in the fuel battery stack 10. The initial supply flow rate is set so that the increasing speed of the anode pressure is higher than a predetermined set increasing speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
