PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable resonance tunnel diode oscillator, without increasing the number of process steps, by suppressing parasitic resonance of a resonance tunnel diode (RTD) and an external circuit with no metal wiring, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A resonance tunnel diode oscillator 30 includes a first resonance tunnel diode RTD1 including a first anode A1 and a first cathode K1, and having asymmetric current voltage characteristics, and a second resonance tunnel diode RTD2 including a second anode A2 and a second cathode K2, and having asymmetric current voltage characteristics. The first RTD1 and second RTD2 are connected in reverse parallel, and when any one of the first RTD1 or second RTD2 is biased to negative resistance oscillation state, the other is biased to the resistance state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
