PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device, an information processing method, a program, and a communication terminal that can reduce the waiting time of a user at the time of an unlocking request.SOLUTION: An information processing device comprises: a detection unit for detecting an unlocking request while a first communication terminal is approaching the information processing device; and a locking control unit for having a locking unit perform unlocking processing on the basis of the detection of the unlocking request. The unlocking request is generated on the basis of vibration or sound satisfying a prescribed condition or prescribed operation to a second communication terminal different from the first communication terminal while the first communication terminal is approaching the information processing device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
