The present invention relates to a battery module which is suitable for reducing the overall volume by minimizing the formation of the air flow path between batteries. The battery module comprises: a battery laminate which consists of a plurality of batteries having a pouch shape, has a central region raised from an edge of a pouch case in a single battery, and closely contacts the central region of the pouch case in two batteries; and a battery housing which accommodates an edge of the battery laminate, wherein the battery housing comprises: a safe shelf inserted between the pouch cases in a plurality of batteries; and a ventilator which exposes the pouch cases to the outside.
