PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of reducing the number of times of reading a reference image being an image of a prescribed area in an input image from an external storage circuit or the like when correcting distortion with respect to the input image.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: reference image area information acquisition means for acquiring reference image area information being information about the size of each reference image being an image of a prescribed area in an input image having distortion; determination means for determining a combination of a plurality of reference images read into internal storage means at a time on the basis of the reference image area information acquired by the reference image area information acquisition means and the storage capacity of the internal storage means for reading the reference images; and image deformation means for reading the plurality of reference images included in the combination determined by the determination means into the internal storage means at a time, applying distortion correction processing to each of the reference images read into the internal storage means, and generating an area image being an area obtained by dividing an output image whose distortion is corrected, corresponding to the reference images.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
