PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in the conventional wireless LAN system that it is difficult to increase a transmission opportunity due to a lot of interference.SOLUTION: In a radio communication system which includes: a plurality of first radio communication devices capable of cooperative operation; a second radio communication device which does not cooperate with the first radio communication devices; and a plurality of radio terminals connected to the first radio communication devices or the second radio communication device, a radio communication method includes: transmitting from each first radio communication device a control frame destined to the self-device, which indicates to wait for transmission for a first waiting time, to cause the second radio communication device to be a standby state; and transmitting a frame to a radio terminal connected to the self-device after the lapse of a second waiting time which is shorter than the first waiting time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
