The invention concerns a procedure and a system for delivering post, and a delivery box to be used in the system 10. According to the procedure, the post is collected and then sorted in sorting centres. According to the invention, the post which has arrived from the various senders is sealed in the sorting centres in delivery boxes according to the address, and then carried to delivery points to be picked up by the addressee.
