The invention relates to a surgical guide for the placement of dental implants, intended to guide a surgeon during the drilling of a patient's bone bed, prior to the placement of an implant as part of a procedure involving the replacement of one or more teeth. The surgical guide essentially comprises: a handle (1) having a hole (2) at at least one of the ends thereof; and a drilling adapter bush (3) which is connected to the handle by means of the hole (2) and which is equipped with a circular through-hole (10) of constant diameter, allowing the tight-fitting passage of a burr (13) during the drilling operation, said bush also comprising a first portion (7) that is connected to the hole (2) in the guide handle (1), and a second portion (8) that can be friction-fitted to the inner diameter of a guide hole (4) in a ferrule (5). The invention also relates to a tool used for mounting and removing the adapter bush (3) on/from the handle (1), formed by a support (15) and a tamper (19).
