The present invention relates to an ear cap for a portable terminal having a tear gas spraying function. The ear cap for a portable terminal having a tear gas spraying function according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a main body; a gas storage chamber formed inside the main body, storing tear gas, and enabling to refill tear gas from the outside when the stored tear gas is used up; a gas spraying nozzle disposed toward the outside through a wall surface of the main body such that the tear gas supplied from the gas storage chamber is sprayed to the outside; a switch formed to protrude through an upper end of the main body such that the tear gas is sprayed through the gas spraying nozzle, the switch being provided in a form allowing a users pressing operation; a cover coupled with the upper end of the main body such that a switch pressing operation not intended by the user is prevented; and a connecting member that can be coupled to and separated from a lower end of the main body and is inserted into and coupled with an earphone outlet holder of the portable terminal, required electric power being transmitted from the portable terminal to the connecting member. When the user presses the switch and sprays tear gas toward a criminal in the case of emergency, the criminal is photographed by a camera module of the portable terminal being operated based on an operation signal of the switch. |
