PURPOSE:To avoid a strange feeling by adjacently arranging plural cameras in a picture display means and selecting the camera being adjacent to the display position of a received picture for inputting the picture. CONSTITUTION:CPU 34 changes-over a switch 32 in accordance with the display position of the received picture on the screen of a monitor 28 and selects one of the cameras 30a-30d arranged at the four corners of the monitor 28. When the received picture is displayed in the area (A) of the monitor 28, for example, the camera 3Oa being most adjacent to the area (A) is used for inputting the picture so that the switch 32 is connected with the output of the camera 3Oa. By this constitution, an eye direction to the received picture and the photographing direction of the camera come to be coincident or nearly coincident so that the sense of in congruity to the discordance of the direction is reduced and natural conversation is executed. |
