PURPOSE:To provide the catheter which has excellent flexibility, elasticity and strength, does not bend at the time of insertion, and has the excellent performance to inject drugs and to suck bodily fluid. CONSTITUTION:This catheter is constituted by using desired fiber materials which are made into a woven structure as the core material of the catheter tube. Metallic fibers, graphite fibers, glass fibers, ceramic fibers or combinations of >=2 kinds thereof are usable as the fiber materials. The use of polar resin fibers is recommended as well. The catheter which has the excellent flexibility, elasticity and strength, does not bend at the time of insertion, and allows the safe execution of the injection of the drugs and the suction of the bodily fluid, etc., is obtd. by using the fiber materials, such as metallic fibers, graphite fibers, glass fibers and ceramic fibers, which are made into the woven structure as the core material. |
