In a connection for preferably circular pipes of relatively hard synthetic thermoplastic materials, the outer pipe 1 has a portion of varying inside diameter and is of undulating, zig-zag or similar form in longitudinal section, and the smallest inside diameters 7, 8 are less than the corresponding outside diameter 9 of the inner pipe 10; after insertion of the latter into the pipe 1 and by the use of pressure or by blows the pipe 10 forms a seal with individual annular regions 5, 6 of the pipe 1. As shown, an annular space 16 is filled with an injected adhesive to ensure additional sealing. |
