PURPOSE:To insure data saved by a large capacity backup device without a master disk by providing a check block preparing means, a check block reading means and a check block collating means. CONSTITUTION:When data backed-up at the time of saving data on a magnetic disk device 17 in the large capacity backup device 16 is verified, the check block preparing means 12 prepares a block to verity the data and the check block reading means 13 reads the block. The check block collating means 14 collates the read block and actual data. |
