The method informs to a carphone user wheather the user is in an available area or not by displaying the status on an LCD panel and generating beep sounds corresponding to the status. The circuit for it includes a mixer (3), a detecting section (5) for detecting the signal from a midrange frequency amplifier (4), an A/ D converter (6) for converting the signal from the amplifier (4) to digital signal, a central processing unit (7), and a beep sound generator composed of a speaker (10) and an audio section (8).
