<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink composition having an excellent surface tack-free property, blocking resistance of cured film, water resistance, solvent resistance and adhesivity to a plastic substrate and to provide an ink set using the ink composition, an ink-jet recording method and a printed material. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition comprises ≥50 wt.% of the total of a monomer represented by formula (I) and/or formula (II) (wherein R<SP>1</SP>is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a 1-4C alkyl group; X<SP>1</SP>is a difunctional connecting group; R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>are each independently a substituent group; k is an integer of 1-6; q and r are each independently an integer of 0-5; and n is a cyclic hydrocarbon structure) in the ink composition.
