<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for recording a hologram, and a device and a method for reconstructing a hologram, capable of materializing a high S/N ratio and a high recording density. <P>SOLUTION: The device for recording a hologram includes a spatial light modulator 18 which displays, through the function of a pattern generator 16, a partial reversal pattern (bright and dark image) obtained by partially reversing a data pattern, and generates a signal light S based on the partial reversal pattern. The signal light S generated by the spatial light modulator 18 is subjected to Fourier transform by Fourier transform lens 20, and transmitted through a light suppressor 22 having a light shielding part formed according to the DC component of Fourier transformed image of the signal light S and projected to an optical recording medium 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
