[Also in Division H2] A lampholder comprises an outer tubular plastics body 1 having contact springs 11, 12, and a removable translucent insert body 14 which encloses a warning lamp 22. The contacts 11, 12 (Figs. 5 and 6, not shown) terminate in resilient blades 11f, 12g, for respectively abutting a central lamp contact 25 and engaging the metal base 21 of the lamp, the contacts being retained by lugs (11d, 11e, 12d, 12e) which engage opposite faces of the base 5 of the body 1. The inner end of the insert body 14 has a recessed rim for retaining a flange 20 on the lamp base, the body 14 having two opposed axial slots 19, one for receiving a rib 13 on the body 1 and the other for access of the contact blade The body 1 is externally screwthreaded for panel mounting. |
