PURPOSE:To prevent oxidation and corrosion of a metal at high temperature by eliminating a fuel gas discharging pipe. CONSTITUTION:A fuel gas supplying pipe 19, an oxidizer gas supplying pipe 20, and an oxidizer gas discharging pipe 21 penetrate through a box body 14. a fuel gas discharging pipe 22 is installed in a part of the box body 14. A cell stack is fastened by bolts 23 and coned disc springs 24. The stack is composed of reciprocally layered single cells and reaction gas distributing means and has respective manifolds for oxidizer gas supply, oxidizer gas discharge, and fuel gas supply and a reaction gas pipe is composed of a pipe 20, a pipe 21, and a pipe 19 and connected with a manifold to which a stack 12 corresponds and the box body 14 is a heat-insulating container to store the stack 12 and the reaction gas pipe. Consequently, a fuel gas is directly discharged in the surrounding of the stack 12 and the surrounding of the stack 12 becomes reductive atmosphere, so that oxidation and corrosion of a metal material is prevented and reliability is improved. |
