PURPOSE:To provide a color changing tool convenient to change the color of a touching part of a toy, a learning instrument, a writing board or the like by cooling or heating when an end member of the tool is brought into touch with a layer on the surface of the toy, learning instrument, writing board or the like which changes color by heat. CONSTITUTION:A thermoelectric converting element 2 with Peltier effect is used as a cooling/heating source. A heat conduction member 4 and a radiator 3 are provided in tight contact with the heat absorption side and the heat generation side of the element 2. The thermoelectric converting element 2 is turned operable when a direct current voltage is impressed thereto. The radiator 3 is comprised of a radiative container 31 and a heat accumulating medium 32 (most suitably, water or water medium mainly composed of water). In comparison with a conventional heating/cooling means which uses cold water, ice pieces or the like as a cooling/heating medium, the layer of an object which changes color by heat can be immediately and easily discolored at an optional time in an optional place. |
