PURPOSE:To allow a welding with a satisfactory strength and less distortion in an inexpensive facility by conducting three-point or more lap welding against one position in two or more positions by use of laser at the time of fixing a support body structure for shadow mask body structure to a frame. CONSTITUTION:A frame 2 is preliminarily set on a welding device, the fitting hole 41 of a support body structure 5 is fitted to a jig pin 10 on the device, and a support body structure holding block 8 is pushed and fixed to the frame side by an air cylinder 9. A laser emitting unit 6 is disposed in a determined position, and three-point lap welding is executed in two positions against one welding part 51. Since the welding strength equal to resistance welding can be ensured by use of a commercially available welding device of a middle capacity, thus, the bonding with less distortion at the time of welding can be performed by introducing an inexpensive facility, and a precise shadow mask body structure can be provided. |
