[Also in Division H1] A switching device for operation of a circuit to a receiver at a set time interval after a signal is received from a conveyer has a continuously rotated rotor 1 which is permanently magnetized to retain armatures 10 on its periphery, the armatures being prevented from rotating with the rotor by the end of a lever 2 which when a coil 6 is energized by a signal from the conveyer releases the first armature 10 whilst a second lever 3 retains the second armature 10. At a predetermined interval after release the armature 10 engages the actuator arm of a contact device 11. In an alternative arrangement (Figs. 4A and 4B), a setting device 22 sets the projection of a pin 26 relative to the armature in accordance with a signal which may be an analog quantity related to the transparency of an original. When the armature is released as described above, the armature will move with the rotor so that after the predetermined time interval the pin 26 will move a detector plate 28 an amount related to the analogue quantity and a detecting device 27 generate a signal related to the movement to control the light quantity for exposure or exposure speed of a copy. |
