1276761 Carrier bags WINDMOLLER & HOLSCHER 25 Feb 1970 [11 March 1969] 9110/70 Heading A4G A carrier bag has the marginal mouth portions of the walls folded over at 20 to close the bag and hand holes 17, 18 are formed on both sides of the fold line so as to register in the folded condition and two reinforcing strips 4, 5 with hand-hole extending therethrough are provided one on one wall 11 above the fold line and the other on the other wall 12 below the fold line. The bag is made from a web of paper or plastics to which the bagwidth reinforcing strips of cardboard or plastics are secured transversely spaced and longitudinally staggered. The web is folded about a longitudinal center line and the edges welded at 7, the sides are gussetted at 8, 9 and the hand holes formed by partial cutting at 15, 16 to form flaps in-turned to lock the fold and give a thick grip to the hand hole. |
