1327053 False ceilings CEGEBAT GP 21 Aug 1970 [22 Aug 1969] 40413/70 Heading E1W False ceiling panels 3, 3', 3" are fastened to frame members 1, using clip fasteners 2, 2', by first resting one edge, e.g. 31' of the panel on the edge of an adjacent panel, and then fixing fasteners 2' on the opposite edge 32', sliding them along this edge into position under the frame members, and then pushing the edge 32' and the fasteners 2' into position, with the fasteners clipped on to the frame members. Each frame member 1 may have downwardly-directed channels 13 and a web 1 which extends down between the channels and has a generally channel-sectioned lower edge flange 12, there being co-operating tabs on the upper surfaces of the fasteners 2, each of which also has a pair of downwardly-directed flanges (221, 222, Figs. 3, 4, not shown) which are bent in to grip the panel edge.
