<p>The drum is a driven cylinder with rounded ends which can be tilted and is held in the tilted position by two free rollers gripping a median flange on the drum between them. The drum's inner surface pref. has staggered rows of (e.g.) rubber studs to impel the products to be coated. The coating liquid is pref. delivered evenly along the drum's axis by fan-shaped jets from sprays consisting of rubber lips opened against a constraining band by the liquid pressure.</p> |
