<p>1336573 Fluidic switching circuits JOHNSON SERVICE CO 8 Dec 1970 [8 Dec 1969] 58326/70 Heading F1P A differential fluidic switch comprises a first fluidic comparator 4, a second fluidic comparator 5, and a fluidic set-reset flip-flop unit having two switching outputs, the first comparator 4 having a signal input 21, a high reference level input 23, and a high level output 29, the second comparator 5 having a signal input 23', a low reference level input 21', and a low level output 30', each of the comparators being such as, in operation, to produce an output signal having either one of two different values and thereby indicating whether the level of a signal at its input is higher than or lower than the level of a reference at its reference level input. When the signal at input 1 reaches a selected high-pressure, the fluidic comparator 4 creates a switching signal which establishes a stable on condition at the output line 3 so long as the input signal pressure remains above a selected low-pressure determined by the setting of the fluidic comparator 5. If the pressure should drop below the selected low-pressure, the fluidic comparator 5 establishes a switching signal giving a resultant stable off condition at output line 3. The stable off condition is maintained as long as the pressure does not rise to the selected highpressure at which the fluidic comparator 4 operates to establish the stable on condition at the output line 3.</p> |
