<p>Title N-oxides of formula (I) and their acid addition salts are prepd. by reacting a cpd. of formula (II) with 1 equiv. of H2O2. (where A is 8C alkylene, X is O or S, -NB is a 16C saturated basic group. contng. tertiary nitrogen, and R and R' are H, halogen, CN, NC 8C alkanoyl or alkoxy, CF3, SCF3, OCF3 or SO2N(CH3)2). The products are antiarrhythmics and also have antibacterial and antifungal activity.</p> |
