<p>Steam for use in heating a decanting vessel, where a specified maximum temp. must not be exceeded, is cooled by first expanding it to a pressure equal to the saturation pressure at the desired maximum temperature and is then saturated by passing it through a condensate bath in a cool vessel. The steam outlet and water inlet of this vessel are both directly connected to the bypass heat exchanger which heats the decanting vessel.</p> |
