N,N-Dimethyl-N'-alkyl or alkenyl N'-(fluorodichloro-methylthio)sulphamide, antimicrobial. Novel N-fluorodichloromethylthiosulphamic acids of formula: (where R = 2-4C alkyl or alkenyl) have antimicrobial activity, esp. as fungicides and algaecides. They are prepd. by reacting N,N-dimethyl-N1-(alkyl or alkenyl) sulphamide with fluorodichloromethanesulphenyl chloride.
