Cooled channel cleaning tool - for low frequency induction - melting furnaces

The edges of the tool employed for the cleaning of heating loops of channel induction melting furnaces are cooled. The cooling may be effected by coolant circulation or evaporation cooling. Its object is to reduce the wear of the cutting edges of the tool leaving it sharp, in which case the finish of the channel is smoother, which improves the running efficiency of the furnace.
