<p>Press for the plastic deformation of metals etc., comprises a rotating ring mounted in the frame of the press; the alternating movements of the ring drive the tool holders, mounted for a radial, rectilinear movement at the inside of the ring, in the opposite direction. The tool holders are articulated to the rotary ring by a push control system which modifies the end of the stroke of the tool holders. The articulation element may be in the form of a wedge mounted in a bush so that it can slide in the axial direction and turn in a tangential direction.</p> |
