<p>In the prodn. of porous mouldings from thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers by extrusion moulding, a thixotropising agent is added to the molten extrusion composition which contains a blowing agent. Thixotropising agents include mineral fillers, certain high polymers, fibres, metal soaps of certain carboxylic acids and silicones. The composition flows more easily. Large hollows do not form in the mouldings. The mouldings have low density and a uniform pore structure.</p> |
