<p>A tube to tube-plate connecting for a heat exchanger, esp. for tube-cooled electrical machines, is effected with a tube-plate containing holes of larger diameter than the external diameter of the tubes, each hole containing an annular groove, into which a sealing ring is inserted. Typically, the annular groove may be of conical section or alternatively it is of cylindrical section, with sealing adhesive inserted after the sealing ring.</p> |
