A control arrangement for a push-pull cable comprises a pivoted pedal 11 formed with a yoke 29 which is pivoted by means of swing links 32, 34 to a bar 36 bolted to a push rod 26, said rod being connected to the cable core 14 and the cable outer casing being fixed to an axially bored member 20 through which the rod passes, and which is rigidly bolted to a floor 13 to which the pedal is pivoted. A conical spring 44 biases the pedal to its position away from the floor. |
