PURPOSE:To prevent paper feed trouble by using recording paper cut from the rear of a recording surface toward the recording surface when recording is performed using coated paper produced by providing a pigment-containing coating layer to a base material. CONSTITUTION:A material 2 to be recorded is fed to a platen 9 by the rotation of a paper feed roller 3 and a separation pad 4 comes into contact with the rear of the material 2 to be recorded and, when two or more materials to be recorded are fed in a superposed state, they are separated by utilizing the friction force of the pad with the rear of the material to be recorded to feed one material 2 to be recorded to a feed roller 5. The material 2 to be recorded fed to a recording part is recorded by a recording head 6 to be stacked on a delivery tray 6 through a delivery roller 7. Herein, the material 2 to be recorded is formed by cutting four sides thereof from the rear thereof toward the recording surface thereof. Since all of the cut parts 13 are cut from the rear toward the recording surface in the direction shown by an arrow P, paper nap X is present at the side on a coating surface side and each end part has a structure bent toward the coating surface. By this constitution, the feed inferiority of the material to be recorded can be certainly solved. |
