A duplex material consists of a sheet of copper alloy containing 0À01-0À85% Zr and/or B having a sheet of stainless steel bonded to one or both faces. The copper alloy is preferably de-oxidized and may also contain Cr not in excess of the total Zr and B content and 0À01-0À04% P. The thermal conductivity of the duplex material may be increased by heating it to 750-1000‹F. for 15-30 minutes. |
