<p>Device for the building up of solid furnace charge prods. in rotary shaft furnaces, in which gas and charge run unidirectionally, consists of a fixed stationary element which covers part of the outlet opening, which it is desired should be filled up with the furnace product. The element may be either a tray with a high rim at one side or a shield. The device is intended for use in connection with iron ore reduction furnaces.</p> |
