Each mouthpiece is fitted with flange and three inside ribs. After its insertion into the bottle opening, a tool enters the mouthpiece and rotates it, engaging at the ribs and also pressing its flange down on the lip of the opening. Heat generated by the friction welds the mouthpiece and opening together. |
