Brick stacking plant - capacitance control positions bricks accurately

Freshly formed raw bricks from the brick press are placed onto a conveyor system. Bricks are firstly separated, secondly accurately positioned and thirdly palleted. The spaced positioning is obtained by a multitude of movable capacitance controllers operating their respective gripping device. Each brick is gripped and held until the correct stacking formation is obtained, before they move to the palleting section where a number of rows are pushed together ready to be transfered to the furnace carriage. This method ensures minimum breakage and deformation.
