<p>1347444 Cathode-ray tube accessories INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 27 July 1972 [31 July 1971] 35085/72 Heading H4T In a colour television receiver a convergence unit is removably supported by a holding arrangement 6 (Figs. 1 and 2) within the cabinet 2 adjacent an opening 3 in the back cover 1 through which it may be inserted or removed. The unit comprises a plastics housing 7 provided with U-shaped guide rails 9 between which a component panel 8 is movably positioned and snap-action arresting or clickstop devices 10 (Fig. 2), which may be overridden, are provided on the holding arrangement 6 and/or on the housing 7 so that where the unit is pulled out it is retained in the withdrawn position to allow convergence adjustments to be made via operating stub shafts 11. The unit may be withdrawn for servicing. The opening 3 may be closed by a cover portion 4 retained by screw means 5.</p> |
