In the device for picking up tennis balls, an endless conveyor belt (18) is mounted on a trolley. Said conveyor belt (18) runs around a lower driving pulley (19) and an upper tensioning pulley (20) and its one strand cooperates with a guide plate (22) running from the floor to a collecting container, as a picking-up and conveying device. Attached to the front end of the trolley are guide rails (56) which are spread in a V-shape close to the ground. The picking-up and conveying device (18, 19, 20, 24) is mounted on a platform (16) of the trolley, on which the basket-like collecting container (17) also stands. Attached directly behind the collecting container (17) are steering spars (51) which have hand-release devices (54) for the actuation, in each case independently of one another, of the guide rails (56) mounted on the trolley such that they can be folded upwards. The picking-up and conveying device (18, 19, 20, 24) and the collecting container (17) are accommodated under a common cover hood (4) which can be folded forwards. <IMAGE> |
