PURPOSE:To permit setting of number of copying sheets at one time in the case of both-side copying by using two down counters, counting the number of one- side copying sheets with one of these counters and counting the number of copying sheets on the rear side with the other. CONSTITUTION:For the beginning when the set number of sheets is set in counters 51, 52 with ten keys 8, the counter 51 is displayed 54. When the operator pushes a selection button 6 and pushes a print button 4 after closing a gate 30, an FF circuit 56 is set and sheets of paper P are copied successively from a cassette 11 and are contained in a cassette 33. The paper P is detected with a switch 40, and the counter 51 counts down. When it goes to O, an FF circuit 55 is reset to change over the counter to 52. In the case of copying on the rear side, the operator resets the button 6, and pushes a button 5 after opening the gate 30, then the sheets of the paper P in the cassette 33 are copied successively and are discharged onto a discharge tray 25. At this time, they are counted with the counter 52. Thereby, the copying is accomplished with one time of setting of the numer of sheets in the case of both-side copying. |
