PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of knocking, by delaying the ignition timing as compared with the case of low temperature when a temperature showing a degree of suction heating is high in time of full-load operation, in case of an ignition timing device for an interal-combustion engine fitted with a suction heater. CONSTITUTION:A degree of suction heating is detected by either suction temperature or resier part temperature. In time of engine cooling, since the suction temperature or the riser part temperature after suction heating is also low, a temperature switch 21 inside a temperature sensor unit 18 is being opened. Therefore, the input voltage V of a lag timing control circuit 14 is zero and the ignition timing is as usual. When the suction temperature or the riser part temperature exceeds the setting value due to the suction heating, a temperature switch 21 is turned on, and if a full-load zone is the case, a suction pressure switch 22 also comes on, so that voltage V is impressed on a lag timing control circuit 17. Accordingly, the ignition time is delayed in a lag timing range almost proportionate to the suction temperature or the riser part temperature. With this, the occurrence of knocking is thus prevented. |
