PURPOSE:To make it possible to restore the original taste of a cuttlefish and improve the preservability for a long period and outward appearance, by inserting a rod-like body covered with a resin film into the trunk part of the cuttlefish to expand the trunk part and freezing the cuttlefish in the state. CONSTITUTION:The estrails, head, arms and the skin are removed from a raw cuttlefish (A) as a raw material, and the resultant body is sterilized and drained. A rod-like body 2 covered with a resin film 1 is then inserted into the trunk part of the cuttlefish (A) to expand the trunk part in the form of a circle. The expanded trunk part is then placed on a synthetic resin tray 3, put into a freezing room and frozen. After completing the freezing, the rod-like body 2 and the resin film 1 are removed to package the trunk part with the synthetic resin tray 3 together. As a result, the original state of the cuttlefish can be restored of course and the preservability for a long period and outward appearance are good. Thus, the consumer's desire to purchase the product can be promoted. |
