<p>Thiazolinotriazine derivs. which are effective as agricultural bactericides against late blight and downy mildew but do not cause agrochemical damage have the formula (I) (R1 is H, halogen or methyl; R2 is cyclohexyl, phenyl, methyl or nitro gp. substd. phenyl gp.; X is oxygen or sulphur). (I) are prepd. by reacting a cpd. of formula (II) with a carbonic acid deriv., e.g. potassium carbonate, phosgene, chloroformate, chlorocarbonic acid ester, or carbodiimidazole, in the presence of an acid binder, e.g. dimethyl aniline or triethylamine, in an organic solvent, e.g. ethyl acetate, benzene or chloroform, at a temp. from 0 deg.C to the solvent b.pt. for 1 to several hrs.</p> |
