PURPOSE:To obtain a time-piece with a two main plate structure and a low power consumption by pivotally supporting one end of a second hand shaft by an upper main plate and holding a pointer pipe coaxially fitted to the second hand shaft by a lower main plate. CONSTITUTION:The bottom end of the second hand shaft 5a of a second hand wheel 5 is pivotally supported by an upper main plate 1. The minute hand pipe 6A of a minute hand wheel 6 is rotatably fitted to the second hand shaft 5a and the hour hand pipe 7A of an hour hand wheel 7 is rotatably fitted to the minute hand pipe 6A. The engaging projection 7b of the hour hand pipe 7A engages the upper end surface of the engaging portion 2A of a lower main plate 2 and regulates the displacement of the hour wheel 7 in an axial direction together with the engagement between the upper surface of the hour wheel 7 and the lower end surface of the engaging portion 2A. Similarly, the engaging projection 6a of the minute hand pipe 6A, engaging the engaging portion 7c of the hour hand pipe 7A, regulates the displacement of the minute hand wheel 6 in an axial direction. Therefore, since the load of the minute hand wheel 6 and the hour hand wheel 7 is wholly applied to the lower main plate 2 and is not applied to the second hand wheel 5, the output of a driving motor 3 can be small even for a two main plate structure.
