摘要 PURPOSE:To perform multiple information processing which eliminates the need for a bus changeover switch and precludes a bus conflict by connecting respective modules in an information processor by an optical bus and making a communication among the modules by using optical signals which differ in wavelength. CONSTITUTION:When data is read out of a memory 102, an address specification signal from a processor 104 is converted by an optical transmitter-receiver 114 into an optical signal with wavelength lambda1, which is sent out to the optical bus 100. The memory 102 detects the optical signal from the bus 100 by an optical transmitter- receiver 112 to obtain address information, converts its corresponding data into an optical signal with wavelength lambda1 by the receiver 112, and sends it out to the bus 100. Consequently, the processor 104 obtains data information. When data is written, the data and address are converted by the receiver 115 into an optical signal with wavelength lambda1, which is sent out to the bus 100; and the memory 102 detects the optical signal by the receiver 112 to obtain the address and data, and the information is written in the address. At this time, information processing between the processor 105 and memory 103 is performed with the optical signal with wavelength lambda2 by using receivers 115 and 113 and the bus 100, so that the mutual processing is not disturbed.
