PURPOSE:To improve the watertightness and joint strength of a joint part by a method wherein the overlapped ends of a lower layer sheet and of an upper layer sheet are heated with hot air and pressed together under the state that a green tape is interposed between the sheets and, after that, hot melt material is packed between the sheets. CONSTITUTION:The ends of a polyolefin-based lower layer sheet 10a and a polyolefin-based upper layer sheet 10b are overlapped by the required width. A green tape 11 consisting of synthetic rubber and special synthetic resin is interposed between the edge side of the lower layer sheet 10a and the upper layer sheet 10b so as to heat them with hot air and press them together in order to bring the lower layer sheet 10a and the upper layer sheet 10b into close contact with each other. After the completion of joining, molten special olefin-based hot melt material 12 is packed between the lower layer sheet 10a, the outside of the green tape 11 and the edge side of the upper layer sheet 10b and at the same time the end of the upper layer sheet 10b is also covered by padding. Thus, the watertightness and joint strength of the joint part can be improved. |
