PURPOSE:To obtain a stable recognized picture irrespective of the size of parts by evenly illuminating a scattered light from the back face of the parts by a pair of illuminating members and a reflecting body attached to an adsorbing nozzle. CONSTITUTION:The parts P is adsorbed by the adsorbing nozzle disposed on the end of an adsorbing head 1 and stopped at a parts recognizing position by passing it between a pair of illuminating members 4, 5. An illuminating light from a light source 8 spreads on all the surface of the illuminating members 4, 5 through a photoconductor 6, changed to the scattered light by the reflecting body 9 attached to a reflecting face 7 and the adsorbing nozzle 2 and irradiated on the parts P. Under this state, the form or the like of the parts P is recognized by a recognition device 3 such as a camera.
