<p>PURPOSE:To operate and display various variable quantities speedily and accurately by adjusting a variable quantity finely with a rotary knob and providing a rotary push mechanism which varies in variable quantity by a constant value every time the rotary knob is pushed. CONSTITUTION:The rotary push mechanism 11 consists of a rotary encoder operated with the rotary knob and a push switch, whose output is applied as a bus signal 21 to a controller 15 through an interface 12. Then the controller 15 includes a CPU 16, a ROM 17, and a RAM 18. Here, when the CPU 16 begins to operate, a cursor is set at the left end on the screen of a cathode-ray tube 20 and when the rotary knob is rotated clockwise slightly, an arrow as a moving direction mark which indicates a rightward direction is displayed on the screen of the cathode-ray tube 20. Then the cursor moves right by one gradation every time the rotary knob is pushed once, and when the rotary knob is rotated clockwise (counterclockwise), the cursor moves right (left) slightly according to the angle of rotation, thereby easily making a fine adjustment.</p> |
